Getting started

PianoFlex Player is installed with ComposerFlex, so it's already on your PC if you have ComposerFlex.

Playing ComposerFlex's songs

You don't need to start the Player yourself.

1. Start ComposerFlex.
2. Choose a preset (a style of music) and click Start.

If the Player isn't running yet, ComposerFlex starts it for you, and the song begins a moment later. See With ComposerFlex.

Playing from a MIDI keyboard

1. Connect your keyboard to the PC and switch it on. Most keyboards connect with a USB cable.
2. Start PianoFlex Player. Open the Start menu and click PianoFlex Player.
3. Check your keyboard. MIDI in shows the keyboard the Player chose. If you have more than one keyboard, click MIDI in to choose another.
4. Play. The keys on the screen light up with the notes you play.

Without a keyboard, you can also click the keys on the screen to play.

Then

• Set the Volume to suit you.
• Choose a Room, from Dry to Concert Hall.
