DrumFlex
A modeled drum kit, with no samples: every hit is computed as it is played, from the drumheads, the stick, the snare wires against the bottom head and the cymbals. No two hits are alike, and the same song still renders the same every time.
The controls
The kit, yours to shape.
Sliders for the sticks, the tuning, the ring, the snare wires and how much each hit varies; the tuning, ring and muffle of the kick, the snare and the toms, and the ring of the hi-hat and the cymbals; a level for each part; a room; and an eight-band EQ. Move a slider while you play and the next hits have the change.
Drums
Stick hardness, tuning in semitones, how long the drums ring, the pitch glide of a hard-hit kick or tom, the snare wires, and how much each hit varies. At zero for Hit variation, every hit is the same.
Pieces
Each part of the kit tuned and damped on its own: the kick's, the snare's and the toms' tuning, ring and muffle, the hi-hat's and cymbals' ring, the kick's beater, and the size of the kick and the toms.
Mix
A level for the kick, the snare, the hi-hat, the toms and the cymbals.
Room
The room around the kit, from a list of reverb rooms.
EQ
Eight bands.
Touch
Dynamic range: how much quieter the softest hit of each drum is than its hardest. A harder hit is brighter as well as louder. A velocity curve shapes how hard you must play for a loud hit.

A full kit
Kick, snare with a cross-stick, hi-hat closed, pedal and open (a closed or pedal hit cuts an open one short), high, mid and floor toms, and a ride with bow, bell and edge, and a crash. Cymbals can be stopped.
Plays ComposerFlex's band
ComposerFlex writes the drum part of its band songs, and DrumFlex plays it, on the General MIDI drum keys.
Standalone or plugin
Play it as a program of its own, or load it as a VST3 plugin in any DAW that hosts them. The plugin has the same sound controls; your DAW keeps the whole kit with the project.

Open a MIDI file and play it, record what you play, or render a MIDI file to FLAC or WAV, at a level ready to use.
Stops cleanly
All Notes Off and All Sound Off silence everything at once, cymbals too.
Even loudness
A drum part plays at the same loudness as PianoFlex's parts at the same volume, and files are written at a level ready to use.
